Meet Teresa

Teresa joined alley’s house when she was 16 years old and her baby was 4 months. Teresa had trouble going to school so she decided to get her GED, computer lessons and case management. Her beautiful baby is the most peaceful baby. “I don’t know if I could be able to achieve my goals if it wasn’t for alley’s house. I’m still working hard on them.” Teresa said. She is very competent and believes she can do whatever she sets her mind to.

Teresa also told us that her goals were to go to college, get a job and show everybody that a teen mom doesn’t need a man to reach her goals and be somebody. Teresa wants to tell other teen moms, “Always use your babies as a motivation. Think of their futures.”
