Linda came to alley's house in September 1999 at age 18. She lived with her parents and was pregnant - due in January 2000. She attended life skill workshops and was matched with a mentor. She successfully gave birth to a healthy baby girl and continued receiving services from alley's house. Due to support and guidance, she was able to move into her own apartment by the end of 2002, got a great job with a local school district and is currently attending Paul Quinn College. She has since returned to alley's house wanting to be a teen mother mentor in our Mentors for Young Mothers program.
