To empower teen mothers and their children to achieve independence through education, ultimately changing their destiny by breaking the cycle of poverty and welfare.

Nearly one million teens become pregnant every year. 40% of girls become pregnant at least once before age 20 and 96% of teen girls keep their babies. Many are alone, scared and without the education or resources to care for a baby. Most teen moms drop out of school. Most of their babies grow up and become teen moms.

In an effort to break this cycle, alley's house offers services and programs to teen mothers. Our goal is to empower teen moms to take control of their lives and make good decisions that will affect their lives as well as their babies. Unless we break the cycle, history will repeat itself.
