Meet Alicia & Anthony Alicia came to alley’s house in August 2008 when her son Anthony was 8 months old. She was working full time at a retail clothing store and was nervous about returning to classes at Eastfield College and having to pay tuition. Through information from alley’s house, Alicia was able to get financial aid which eased her stress. She was also able to complete our On the Job Office training program and learn the skills necessary for her to get an entry level office position.

Alicia was matched with Nicole, a mentor with whom she could confide in and lean on for guidance. In January 2009, Alicia graduated from alley’s house and was featured on the cover of our Program Opportunities brochure.
